Sarah and I went on a whale watch with Boston Harbor Cruises. Even though I’ve always known about the whale watches, I never got around to doing one in Boston. I guess it’s one of those touristy things that you don’t do as a local. Definitely worth it!
At the beginning of the summer we took a family vacation out to Utah. Our destination was the “grand circle” of National Parks there: Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish, and particularly interesting for a geology buff like me.
I took over two thousand photos over the course of our nine-day visit, and chose my favorite few dozen for one set. Enjoy!
This was my final paper for POLS0220: City Politics. Our assignment was to pick a city issue, follow newspaper articles about it over the semester, and then analyze it with our developing understanding of city politics. I chose to look at the stalled redevelopment of the site of the old Filene’s in Downtown Crossing.
